Membership

There are a number of  benefits to being a member  of the RIE-SWO organization:  here are just a few.
 
  • Participation in two (2)  RIE-SWO symposia annually (spring, fall post-pandemic) and access to previous RIE-SWO symposia presentation materials online on this website (see the Documents tab)
  • Participation in periodic webinars and access to the associated presentation materials & handouts
  • Networking opportunities with other preparedness practitioners, vendors, speakers etc.
  • RIE-SWO publications (Member Updates, Newsletters, Brochures etc.)
  • Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits where applicable
  • Conference discounts (e.g. to DRJ, Continuity & Resilience Today etc.)
  • Free registration to "other RIE chapter" meetings and events
  • Discounts on selected RIE-sponsored activities

For the 2025 year, your executive has restored membership fees1 to pre-pandemic levels, as follows:
        >  Individual Fee:      $100.00      You are the sole person from your organization
        >  Corporate Fee:     $  80.00       With five (5) or more joining from your organization 
        >  Student Fee:          $  25.00       All students receive this discounted fee

Membership Renewal Time?
RIE-SWO (our Membership Director) issues membership invoices once a year, usually in the spring. Membership fees can be paid by any of:
  • an eTransfer to treasurer@rie-swo.org
  • via PayPal   or by
  • mailing a cheque to us, payable to “RIE-SWO Treasurer”  sent to 1069 Viscount Road, London ON, N6K 1H6


1. your membership fee is a tax deduction if you pay for it (as opposed to your organization)
